Nancy Carol (Lee) Hubbard

Nancy C. Hubbard, 76, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024, in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Born on December 18, 1947, to William and Lora Lee Jr. in Honaker, Virginia, Nancy lived a life full of love, generosity, and warmth.

A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Nancy cherished her family above all else. She had a unique talent for seeing the good in everyone and was known for her hard-working nature and generous spirit. Her polished appearance and well-kept home were reflections of her meticulous and caring personality.

Nancy had a passion for decorating, always ensuring her home was a welcoming haven for family and friends. She found joy in gardening and planting flowers that added color and life to her surroundings. Her faithful companion, Layla, was always by her side, providing comfort and companionship.

In her spare time, Nancy loved to travel. Some of her favorite destinations included Rough River and the sunny shores of Florida. These trips were opportunities for her to create cherished memories with her loved ones. She will be remembered for her unwavering kindness, her dedication to her family, and her ability to make any place feel like home.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, William Lee Jr., and Lora Gay Ball Lee.

Left to cherish her memory, Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Wesley Hubbard; daughter, Angela R. Palm (Richard); son, Rodney L. Hubbard (Tina Maracz); brother, William David Lee (Donna); 10 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
