Natalie Buchanan Obituary

Natalie Alicia Buchanan, of Glasgow, Kentucky died on May 5th, 2023, in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

She was born on April 11, 1991, to Elizabeth Susan Buchanan in Glasgow, Kentucky.

She graduated from Glasgow High School in 2009. She went on to be a Certified Nurses Aid and worked in nursing homes as well as working in retail and the food industry. She was a talented artist, bookworm, avid music lover, and deeply passionate about her spiritual nature such as reading and understanding the tarot and plethora of astrological phenomena. She was uniquely intelligent, eccentric, anti-mainstream, and Avant-garde in the way that she didn’t care if her clothes matched, or her hair was tame. She was instinctually rebellious and refused to color inside the lines. Her will was so strong that at times, she could not be swayed by the words of any individual. In her recent life she faced many hardships, but even in the face of strife she always sought to love and be loved. In that same respect, she will always be loved and severely missed by family, friends, and many others.

Natalie is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Sophia Wilson of Glasgow, KY,

Her brothers, Jonathan Wesley Buchanan of Bowling Green, KY,

Forrest Rogers Buchanan of Bowling Green, KY, and

James Cloe Buchanan (Brittiana) of Glasgow, KY.

Her sister, LaVece Carr Buchanan, of Colorado

She is also survived by her grandmother, Mary Lynn Dickinson of Glasgow, KY, Aunts, Monica Lynn Schultz (Frank) of Glasgow, KY, and Mary Hannah Austin (David) of Jeffersonville, IN and first cousins, Alexander Jorge Austin of Jeffersonville, IN Heather Leann Polin (Kyle) of Smith’s Grove, KY, Susan Elizabeth Reece, and Rebecca Lynn White (Quentel) both of Glasgow, KY.

Natalie was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Susan Buchanan of Glasgow, KY.

There will be a grave side service on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery at TBD time. Family and friends are welcome to gather at her Aunt Monica’s home afterwards for fellowship.
