Pamela Sue Coleman Richey, 64 of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born to the late Shirley and Lucille Coleman. Pam was the fifth child and the only sister of five brothers Babby, Ronnie, Butch, Dennis, Gary, whom all survive her. Pam was a devoted wife, mother, and mamaw. As a homemaker, her grandchildren were the light of her life. She enjoyed anything her grandkids asked her to do, Sunday dinners, family get togethers, shopping, boating the mighty Ohio, and dancing to live music. Always the life of any party and ready to have a good time with cold Bud Lights or some sweet red wine.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Scott Richey. Her two daughters Heather (Tim Bryson), Memphis, Indiana and Holly (Shawn Pace), Charlestown, Indiana. Her niece whom she loved as a daughter Jessica (Buster Neal) Taylorsville, Kentucky.
Her three grandchildren Trevor, Emma and Sophia. Her 5 pound fur companion Dolly Renee. Lots of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family would like to give a special thank you to all our family and friends for the calls, messages, cards, food, gifts, and visits. Your thoughtfulness and love means the world to us.
Also a special thank you to Hosparus Health of Southern Indiana and our wonderful nurse Tammy Mills who went above and beyond for all of our needs.
Graveside service and entombment will be performed by Scott Funeral Home on July 15, 2021 at Walnut Ridge Cemetery at 11:00am.
A memorial service will also be held on Friday, July 30th at 7pm at the 5c club in Utica, Indiana. Please wear your favorite purple shirt to honor the life of a woman whom will be sorely missed by all that had the pleasure to know her. To know her was to love her.
“Serve cold beer and play some good music. Be happy and dance. I am no longer sick. Will you do that for your mommy?”
