Raymond F Schulz

Raymond F Schulz born on June 12,1951, to Stanley and Helen (Wheat) Schulz, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025, following a 5 ½ year battle with pancreatic cancer.

Ray was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired from Colgate Palmolive in 2006. Ray enjoyed playing golf, especially with his friends from the Knights of Columbus in Jeffersonville. He was a loyal fan of IU, especially basketball.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Charlotte DeLise and his brother Donnie Schulz.

He is survived by his loving wife Donna (Crotty) of almost 40 years. Also surviving is his son Mack Schulz and daughter in law Taylor Schulz. Ray was delighted to become a grandfather to Spencer Lee and Rex Raymond Schulz, both of whom kept him laughing and smiling.

Ray is survived by his brothers Stan aka Bootsie (Linda), Tom (Missy), Jeffrey, and his sister Jennifer O’Brien, as well as many nieces and nephews, and sisters-in-law Karen Small (Ron) of Aurora, Illinois and Anita Mansell of Birmingham, Alabama.

Per Ray’s wishes he has donated his body for medical research. In lieu of flowers, please make charitable contributions to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Pancreatic Research.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, at Scott Funeral Home in Jeffersonville from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St Augustine Church in Jeffersonville on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 11 am.
