Rebecca "Becky" Carle Schmitz

Rebecca “Becky” Carle Schmitz, 66, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on May 30, 2020 at her home. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, with burial to follow at Eastern Cemetery in Jeffersonville, IN.  Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 PM on Wednesday and after 9 AM on Thursday at the funeral home. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Brackett Guilfoil; father, Hulett A. Guilfoil; two brothers, Jim Guilfoil of Texas, and Tim Guilfoil of Indianapolis; and two sisters, Patty Guilfoil of Indianapolis and Betty Hannon of South Carolina.

Surviving family includes her loving husband of 46 years, Terry L. Schmitz; four children, Cameron (Danny) White, Mike (Amy) Schmitz, Dwight (Heather) Schmitz, and Stephanie (Bryan) Hargett; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lyda Collins of Indianapolis, Molly Powers of South Carolina, Besse Guilfoil Cones of Michigan, Virginia (Bob) Godfrey of North Carolina, and Amelia McKinney of Louisville.
