Remi Moody Obituary

Remi Lynn Moody, age 3, passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, in Indianapolis.

Remi was the cherished firstborn daughter of Austin and Tifany Moody, and from the moment she arrived, she filled their lives with unmeasurable joy, laughter, and love. Her bright smile, curious spirit, and tender heart brought light to family, friends, and the unsuspecting stranger.

Remi found wonder in the simple things, playing outdoors, climbing on the playground equipment, and creating colorful masterpieces during her arts and crafts time. Her giggles often echoed through the house as she watched her favorite show, Bluey, or played alongside her faithful canine companions, Ellie and Leia.

Remi’s love and sweetness live on in her newborn baby sister, Rylee, who will grow up surrounded by the many stories and memories that capture her big sister’s beautiful spirit.

She is also survived by her loving grandparents, Darrell and Robin Moody, Winnie and Kirk Spencer, and Mike and Lisa Sheets; great-grandparents, Richard and Patricia Lewis and Karen Spencer; uncles, Mason Moody (Lauren), Joshua Moody (Hayley), and Adam Moody; aunt, Savannah Spencer; and family best friends, Ben and Karlee Doss and their children, Christian and Kelly, who all adored Remi deeply.

Though her time on earth was far too short, Remi’s radiant light and boundless love will forever shine in the hearts of those who knew her.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville. A celebration of her life will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.

In remembrance of Remi, her family encourages all to hold their loved ones a little closer and find joy in the small, everyday moments… just as she did so beautifully.
