Rev. Donald Lee Sandusky

Rev. Don Sandusky, 74, of Charlestown, entered into the presence of his Heavenly Father on March 23, 2025.

Don was born in St. Joseph, Missouri, to the late George and Eloise Sandusky.  Don was a man of faith and ingenuity.  He pursued a rewarding career as a mechanical engineer, which led him to roles such as International Sales Manager at Logan Company and Vice President at Jervis B. Webb Company.  Ultimately, he became the owner and CEO of 1st Source Products, Inc. His work took him across the globe, where he not only conducted business but also shared the love of Christ with those he met.

A devoted husband, Don faithfully served alongside his beloved wife of 49 years, Renee Sandusky, in their church home, Christ Gospel Church, since 1978. His unwavering commitment to his faith, family, and community will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Don is survived by his loving wife, Renee; brother, David Sandusky; nieces and nephews, Rachel, Corwin, Greg, Lani, Jamie, James, and Jacqueline; his brothers-in-law, Rich Slaten and Roger Slaten; as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Monday, March 31, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway and again Tuesday prior to his funeral 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Christ Gospel Church. A celebration of Don’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Gospel Church, followed by his burial at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
