Robbie Ranae (Murphy) Quillin

Robbie Ranae Quillin, age 55, of New Albany, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 20, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and devotion to her family. Robbie was a loving homemaker and had previously dedicated her heart to helping others through her work as a social worker. Her caring spirit touched everyone who knew her, and she had a way of making people feel truly seen and valued.

Robbie found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved jammin’ to country music and hitting the dance floor for line dancing, her smile as bright as her laughter. She took great pride in keeping her beloved black Jeep spotless, a reflection of the care she put into everything she did. One of her greatest joys was cheering on her grandbabies at their baseball games, beaming with pride from the stands.

She treasured her trips to Texas & Arizona to visit family, where she soaked up the sunshine at the Ranch, watching the horses and deeply appreciating the hard work and dedication it took to keep such a place running. Those trips brought her peace and happiness, but nothing meant more to Robbie than being surrounded by her family. She adored being covered in grandchildren, delighting in their hugs, kisses, and giggles, and sharing moments filled with laughter and love.

Robbie was preceded in death by her father, John Darrell Murphy; her brother, Ronald Murphy; and her dear, loving cousin, Sheri Wallace Bailey. Left to cherish her precious memory are her children, Amanda LaRae Quillin, Casey Quillin, and Braydon Quillin; her mother, Carolyn Ann Payne; stepfather, Roy Arrington; her grandchildren: Dawson, Laney, Zane, and Nash; her sister, Rhena Murphy; and her brothers: Rodney, Randall, Rusty, and JJ Murphy; as well as many special nieces and nephews.

Though her time here was far too short, Robbie’s love lives on in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her.
