Obituary
A Celebration of Life for Robert “Mike” Michael Thompson, 65, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, will be held at 12 PM on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Pkwy in Jeffersonville, with entombment to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. He passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023.
Mike was born on September 10, 1957 in Terre Haute, Indiana to the late Bobby Lee and Mary Ann Thompson. He worked for many years at Commonwealth Dodge in Louisville as their director of finance. He was devoted to providing for his family and he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Maria Thompson; four children, Michelle Newbanks (A.J.), Kimberly Yates (Jeffrey), David Thompson, Jason Thompson (Angelica); a sister, Debbie Barnes (Kevin); and eight grandchildren, Aydan Carter, Kealey Carter, Lila Newbanks, Emma Yates, Carson Yates, Paisley Yates, Jayden Thompson and Carter Thompson.
