Funeral services for Robert N. Francis, 85, of Jeffersonville, IN, will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN, with entombment to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 PM on Tuesday and after 10 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home.  He passed away on January 16, 2020.

He was born on June 25, 1934 in Alton, IN.  He loved to spend his time fishing or hunting, watching IU Basketball, and working on old car restorations. Bob was a very hard worker, and he especially enjoyed working in the yard on his garden. There he grew and enjoyed cooking with vegetables of all kinds. He was also a handy-man to many, and was more than willing to help with house work, wood working, and any other odd jobs.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Lettie Francis; and siblings, Sylvan Francis, Ruby Shevesky, and Edna McClure.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Pat Francis; son, Scott Francis (Linda); granddaughter, Cara Burden (Jason); great-grandchildren, Lauren, Landon, Devin, Jenna, and Jonathan; siblings, Frank Francis (Sue) and Anabelle Williams; and a host of extended family and friends.

Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
