Roberta (Russell) Lindsey

Roberta Lindsey, 90, passed away, Tuesday, May 24, 2022. 

She was born April 28, 1932 in Adairville, Kentucky to the late Ewing and Thelma (Kendrick) Russell. She was a retired nurse , for a nursing facility in Augusta, Georgia; at one point in her life she owned a Beauty College; and she was a faithful member of Greater Mount Zion Apostolic Church. 

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Floyd Lindsey; one brother; two sisters; and a nephew. Roberta passed away 10 hours before her sister, Cora White. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Selena Pratt; two grandchildren, Johnathon Pratt and Jasmin Pratt; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Garnetta Harris; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

There will be a joint funeral service for Roberta and her sister, Cora White;  Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. at Newburg Apostolic Church, 4817 Indian Trail, Louisville, Ky 40218. There will be no public visitation and burial will be private in Walnut Ridge Cemetery, Jeffersonville, Indiana on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.
