Roland Dale Eden

Roland Dale Eden, age 85, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2024, at Hillcrest Healthcare in Jeffersonville, Indiana. A passionate college football fan, Roland was especially fond of following the University of Louisville, University of Kentucky, and University of Tennessee teams. His love of sports was matched only by his deep appreciation for music, which brought him joy throughout his life.

Roland was an avid listener of talk radio, spending countless hours tuned in to the voices of Rush Limbaugh, Art Bell's Coast to Coast AM, and financial advice from Dave Ramsey. These programs were more than entertainment for him—they fueled his curiosity and love for conversation.

Roland proudly served his country as a Navy veteran and cherished the camaraderie of fellow servicemen. He enjoyed swapping stories over coffee at the local Waffle House, where his presence and good humor will be deeply missed.

His family has honored his wish for cremation. Roland is survived by his son, Shawn Eden (Jennifer), and his beloved grandson, Sammy Green, who will forever cherish the memories of their time together. Roland’s family and friends will remember him for his wit, passion, and devotion to the things he loved.
