Rosemary Ruth (Grudzlanek) Jouskey

Rosemary Ruth Jouskey, age 73, passed away peacefully Monday, April 14, 2025. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to the late Raymond and Helen Barwick Grudzlanek, Rosemary grew up with a deep sense of compassion and care—qualities that would define her both personally and professionally throughout her life.

She met the love of her life, Larry Jouskey, on a blind date—an encounter that blossomed into a marriage filled with laughter, love, and unwavering devotion for over 43 years. Together, they built a life grounded in kindness, partnership, and shared memories that will forever be cherished.

Rosemary dedicated nearly four decades of her life as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Kentuckiana Allergy, where she became not just a trusted caregiver but also a dear friend to countless patients and colleagues. Her gentle spirit, quiet strength, and comforting presence made a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege to know her.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Larry; her siblings, Gary Grudzlanek, Donald Grudzlanek (Patsy), and Pam Spangler; as well as many treasured nieces and nephews who will forever hold Aunt Rosemary close in their hearts. Her family and friends will remember her for her warmth, her loyalty, and her humble grace.

In accordance with Rosemary’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private burial of her ashes will be held at a later date in Bowling Green, Kentucky—a peaceful resting place to match her gentle soul. Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
