Roy M. Pierson

Funeral services for Roy M. Pierson, 82, of Jeffersonville, IN, will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN, with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 3 to 8 PM and after 9 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home. He passed away on Friday, December 5, 2014 at his home.
He was a retired Mechanic from Philip Morris after 32 years and is a member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church in Valley Station, KY. He was a talented woodworker and enjoyed fishing in his free time.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Dee Pierson; sister, Maureen Maxberry.
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Eloise Pierson; 10 children, Brenda Meredith (Daryl), Roger Pierce (Joann), Faye Little, Connie Clower, Larry Pierce (Kathy), Doug Pierce (Samantha), Ernie Pierce (Sharon), Donnie Pierce (Terry), Lois Zimmerlein (Howard) and Boyd Pierce (Debbie); two siblings, Aire Belle Baker and Dorothy Tomes; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
