Ruth Gene (Lindsey) Grimm

Funeral services for Ruth Gene Grimm, 92, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 1 PM at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Pkwy in Jeffersonville, with burial to follow in Walnut Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Friday prior to the service from 10-1 PM at the funeral home.  She passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville.    

Ruth was born on August 25, 1928 in Henry County, Kentucky to the late Elijah and Minnie Lindsey.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.  Ruth was known for caring for everyone in the neighborhood whether it be altering a pair of pants or making a batch of chocolate chip cookies, she was always there if you needed her.  She also enjoyed shopping when she had the time!

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of nearly 70 years, Francis Grimm; a daughter, Carolyn Jane Grimm Forrest; a granddaughter, Courtney Renee Grimm; and a daughter-in-law, Connie L. Grimm.  

Ruth is survived by three children, Alan Grimm; Kevin Grimm; Catherine Grimm; a granddaughter, Leana Knecht (Ross); three great grandchildren, Abigail, Anna and Andrew Knecht; a sister-in-law, Jane Musselman; a cousin, Barbara Ansert; and a special friend, Mickey Morgan.
