Samuel "Sam" Livers Obituary

Samuel “Sam” Brendan Livers, 17, of Memphis, IN, passed away on January 2, 2021.

Sam was born on September 20, 2003 in New Albany, IN and was a Junior at Borden High School.  He loved to spend his time with his family and friends, and also his grandfather at Bagshaw Construction, but truly loved being outdoors, whether it was hiking, running, camping or hunting.  He will be missed by his family, and will always be remembered for his amazing heart and quirky grin.

He is survived by his parents, Veronica Bagshaw (Scott), and Chris Livers (Stacey); siblings, Nathaniel Livers, Logan Livers and Savannah Bagshaw; aunt, Valerie White and Jessica Smith (Edward); grandparents, Dianne Very (Charlie), Kevin and Brenda Lawson, and Dale and Sharon Bagshaw; great-grandmother, Benita Lawson; uncle, Aaron Gore; aunts, Joy and Amy Very; and cousins, Audrey and Elizabeth Smith, Elissa White, and Charlee Ann Very.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the family wishes for the visitation and funeral service to be limited to only Sam’s closest friends and family for the safety of everyone. Thoughts and prayers are just as appreciated from afar if you are uncomfortable with attending. Visitation will be held from 11 AM to 1 PM on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at Scott Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, IN, with a private family service and burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, IN.
