Sandra Lee Stinson

Sandra Lee Stinson, age 80, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025, at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

Born on October 19, 1945, in Jeffersonville, Sandra was the daughter of the late Jesse and Georgia Lee Hanger. She was also preceded in death by her brother, William (Bill) Hanger.

Sandra is survived by her devoted husband, David J. Stinson; her beloved son, David J. Stinson II, and his wife, Lori; and her cherished grandchildren, Dylan and Kate Stinson, who brought her endless joy. She is also survived by her niece, Amy Hanger Jones (Dick); and her nephew, Jesse Hanger (Robin), her sister-in-law, Leilani Hanger Carney; her brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Sherry Eastes; her nephew, Sean Eastes (Kathy); her niece, Mea Estes.

A proud graduate of Indiana University Bloomington, Sandra was a lifelong Hoosier fan and took great pride in seeing her love of IU passed down through two more generations. She enjoyed a remarkable career spanning over 50 years as a dedicated and successful realtor, earning the respect and friendship of countless clients and colleagues.

In her retirement, Sandra embraced her passions for travel, corvette trips, and cruising, and she found great joy and community in the game of bridge.

Funeral services will be held at Scott Funeral Home in Jeffersonville on Sunday, November 9, 2025. Visitation will take place from 2:00 to 5:00 PM, with a service immediately following at 5:00 PM.

Sandra will be remembered for her warmth, humor, determination, and the deep love she shared with her family and friends. Her legacy of kindness and spirited enthusiasm will continue to live on in all who knew her.
