Scott Gene Conrad

Scotty “Scott” Gene Conrad, 73, of Jeffersonville, IN passed away on February 4, 2020.  At the age of 13, Scott met the love of his life and spent the next 60 years by her side. He was a graduate of Jeffersonville High School, class of 1964 and was an Air Force veteran.  Scott was retired from Jeffersonville Fire Department and Toyota Industrial Equipment. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Jeffersonville, IN.   Scott was most proud of being known as Papaw to his beloved grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell & Dorothy Conrad and Keith & Viola Weathers.

Scott is survived by his wife of 52 years, Patricia Conrad; daughter, Kelli (Kent) Porter; son, Keith (Marianne) Conrad; grandchildren, Kaitlin Porter, Kristin Porter, Logan Scott Conrad & Elise Conrad and sisters, Martha (Bob) Read and Jayne Pope.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 9, 2020, at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN from 2pm-8pm.  A service celebrating Scott’s life will be at 11am, Monday, February 10, 2020, at Scott Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery, 2421 Hamburg Pike, Jeffersonville, IN.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that expressions of sympathy be made to First Baptist Church, 2402 E. 10th Street, Jeffersonville, IN.
