Shaun Michael Burton

Shaun Michael Burton, age 41, passed away on Saturday, January 11th, 2025. He was born on July 15, 1983 to Vicki Whittinghill-Burton in Jeffersonville, IN.

Shaun was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, and cousin. Shaun is survived by his daughter, Aubrey Burton; sister, Jackie (JT) Taylor; brother, Travis Burton; niece, MaKenna Taylor; nephews, Landry and Paxton Taylor and Brantley Burton; aunt, Cheri Ashabranner; cousins, Ricky and Matt Ashabranner; grandparents; Terry and Don Copple; and many other loved ones. Shaun is preceded in death by his mother, Vicki Whittinghill-Burton; grandparents, Jack and Patricia Whittinghill; and brother, Scott Allen Burton.

Shaun attended Riverside Elementary School, River Valley Middle School, and Jeffersonville High School through his younger years. Throughout his education, he was also a star varsity soccer player. He worked closely in the industrial field for many years of his life and loved to spend time with friends and family. He had a deep interest in animals and caring for them. Shaun was selfless, strong, creative, loving, and most of all; humble. He was a passionate soul for helping others through their own struggles. 

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2025 from 1pm-7pm at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN. A celebration of Shaun’s life will be held on Monday, January 20th, 2025 at 10am at Scott Funeral Home, following with the burial at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 5507 New Chapel Road, Jeffersonville, IN.
