Shirley Jane Haulter

Funeral services for Shirley Jane "Nana" Haulter, 84, of Clarksville, IN, will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 17, 2014, at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway in Jeffersonville, IN, with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 from 3 to 8 PM at the funeral home. She passed away on Monday, July 14, 2014.
Shirley was a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, grandmother and friend. She will be remembered for her kindness, smile and unconditional love, and by the many children who passed through the library at George Rogers Clark Elementary or saw her at any Little League or high school sporting event in Clarksville. Ultimately she was a mother to all.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Ernest Haulter; and parents, John A. Hembree and Ena M. Hembree.
She is survived by her four children, Sharon Girten (Lou), Robert Haulter (Sandra), Thomas Haulter (Molly) and Scott Haulter; eight grandchildren, Kristin Girten (Dave Pantos), Chris Haulter (Katie), Kyle Girten (Tammany), Heather Jones (Greg), Brian Haulter, Patrick Haulter (Crystal), Angela Haulter and Madison Haulter; eight great-grandchildren; and three siblings, Jeanne Emerick (Eugene), twin sister Margaret Burton and John Hembree (Imogene).
