Stephen Trussell

Stephen L. Trussell, 41, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on November 9th, 2021. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 14th, 2021 from 12:00PM-6:00PM at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, in Jeffersonville, Indiana with a service to follow at 6:00PM.

Stephen was born on July 29th, 1980 in Hopewell, Virginia to William and Teresa Trussell. Stephen could easily light up every room he entered with his selfless heart and willingness to help others.  Stephen was known for being a “momma’s boy” and always boasted about being his mother’s favorite child. He was so proud of his accomplishment of starting his own business. He handled home improvements as a general contractor and was the proud owner of TTTL Home Improvements. Stephen was also proud of his recovery and loved life. He and his wife Alyssa had been together 5 years and been married almost 3; the love they shared was beyond measure and he thought the world of her. He also boasted how much he loved his 5 year old daughter; she was the light of his life. He would do anything just to see her smile. 

Stephen is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Marlyn Stephens and Velma Moon; his grandfather, Thomas Trussell; and great-grandmother, Margaret Stephens. He is survived by his loving, beautiful wife, Alyssa Trussell; his 3 children, Brie, Liam, and Jasmine; his parents, William Trussell and Teresa Trussell; his siblings, Cheryl Agee and Thomas Trussell; as well as a host of many family and friends who will all miss him very much.
