Steven P. Middleton

Steven P. Middleton, 70, of Jeffersonville, passed away on June 7, 2022 surrounded by his family. 

Visitation will be held from 12 to 4 PM on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN.  Cremation was chosen and inurnment will be held at a later date at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.

Steve was born on November 23, 1951 to the late Paul and Dolores Middleton.  He attended Jeffersonville High School and then Indiana University where he received his Associates in Nursing and Bachelor’s Degrees in Business.  He was a registered nurse and retired after 43 years, with 29 years being spent at Clark Memorial Hospital and another 15 years at Southern Indiana Rehab. 

Steve loved to cook for his family and spend his time outdoors fishing. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Paul Middleton Jr.

Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Virtie Middleton; sister, Pamela Shelton; children, Steven Middleton Jr. (Megan), Gavin Middleton (Rebecca), and Kimberly Middleton; grandchildren, Alison Middleton, Olivia Middleton, Molly Middleton, Amelia Middleton, Alex Middleton, and Emma Middleton; and nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
