Steven James Numikoski

Steven James Numikoski, 61, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away peacefully at his residence on May 31, 2026.

Born on July 14, 1964, Steven lived a life marked by kindness, loyalty, and devotion to those he loved. He retired after a distinguished career spanning more than 30 years as a loan underwriter with Chase Bank, where he was respected for his dedication, professionalism, and strong work ethic. Steven proudly served in the Army and remained proud of his military service throughout his life.

Steven found joy in many of life's simple pleasures. He was an avid reader with a deep appreciation for history and enjoyed spending countless hours gaming. A devoted sports fan, he faithfully cheered for the Dallas Cowboys and Michigan football. He never passed up a good cup of coffee and treasured the time spent enjoying the things he loved most.

Above all else, Steven's greatest happiness came from his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose generous heart touched everyone who knew him. He had a special love for dogs and his compassion extended to people as well. Steven was the kind of person who would do anything for anyone, always willing to lend a helping hand, offer encouragement, or simply be there when needed.

Steven is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Vanessa Numikoski; his sons, Michael Allen (Danielle) and Todd Aaron Numikoski; and his cherished grandson, Hunter Aaron Numikoski. He also leaves behind many other relatives and friends who will miss his warmth, humor, and unwavering friendship.

Steven's memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. His legacy of kindness, generosity, and devotion to family will never be forgotten.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 from 10:00am until 1:00pm at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130.  A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
