Tammy Potts

Tammy Potts, age 64, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family. Tammy was a devoted mom, a cherished Nana, and a beloved sister, whose life was a testament to love, resilience, and devotion.

A gifted lawn and garden landscaper, Tammy created outdoor masterpieces that reflected her creativity and passion for nature. Her work brought beauty to the world and joy to all who experienced it. She also had a deep love for animals, particularly her loyal German shepherds and her spirited chihuahua, Zeus, who brought endless companionship and delight to her life.

Tammy’s legacy of love lives on in her family. She is survived by her daughters, Tonya Sample, Tiffany Sample, and Tabatha Sample (Eric); her treasured grandchildren, Destiney, Cody, Ivy, and Aden; her great-grandchildren, Christopher, Aurora, and Brandon; and significant other, Jonathan “Jonnny” Keller. Tammy is also survived by her siblings, Mark Jones and Debbie Jones, who shared in the laughter and bonds of a lifetime.

Tammy was preceded in death by her loving parents, Donald and June Rose Jones; her first love, David Sample; her brother, Donald Jones, Jr.; and her precious great-grandson, Braxton.

Tammy’s family honored her wish for cremation. While she is no longer with us, her spirit will forever bloom in the hearts of those she touched. She will be remembered not just for the beauty she brought to the world, but for the love she gave unconditionally to her family and friends. Her light, like her gardens, will forever brighten the lives of all who knew her.
