Terry Lynn Oliver, born August 31.1953 in Louisville, KY was an amazing woman. In her youth, she was a member of the Agape Singers and played the violin beautifully. She graduated from Jeffersonville Highschool and studied at Indiana University Southeast. Throughout her life, she loved to travel, having visited Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, and Great Britain. She loved cross country trips to various National Parks to explore. She worked many jobs as an Army wife throughout the years, finally retiring from the Census Bureau in Jeffersonville, IN. She was a member of First Christian Church in Jeffersonville. She was an avid reader as well and a top- notch Bridge card game player. She loved to socialize, collect items from around the world and adopt senior dogs. Terry also had a quick wit and was always fast with a joke. She loved life to its fullest and she loved meeting new people. She will be missed deeply. God called her home on Feb 6,2021.
She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Oliver, and her brother, Bruce Oliver. She is survived by her mother, Doris Oliver, her sister Robin(Gary) Vissing, and brother, Eric Oliver. Her two children, Joshua Ott of Indiana and Brittany Deutsch (Jason) of Colorado as well as her dog, Lacy. She is survived by many Aunts, Uncles and cousins as well as her two nephews, Chase and Corey.
Services will be held Saturday, February 27th at Walnut Ridge Cemetery (2421 Hamburg Pike, Jeffersonville IN 47130) at 10 am with a Celebration of Life at her sister’s house from 11-2. 3309 Justinian Dr, Jeffersonville IN 47130.
