Thomas Madden Obituary

Thomas “Tom” Jackson Madden, 96, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away on October 18, 2021 at University of Louisville Hospital. He was born in Swiftown, Mississippi son of the late Linzie and Bessie (Day) Madden. Tom was a retired vice-president of the former First National Bank and was an United States Army WWII veteran. He also was a member of the Masonic Lodge, American Legion and was Presbyterian by faith. Tom was a wonderful person and enjoyed spending time with his loving family and friends.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Michael “Mick” Madden; sister, Eunice. He is survived by his loving wife, Rachel (Hay) Madden; son, Rick Madden (Barbara); daughter, Donna Collins (Jerry); brother, Wayne Madden (Tsuya); daughter-in-law, Diana Madden; 9 grandchildren, Valerie Collins, Vance Collins (Angela), Whitney Walsh (Logan), Shawn Madden (Angela), Todd Madden (Christina), Bart Madden (Anna), Christi Madden Moberly (Paul), Angela Conway (Ronnie), Benjamin Madden (Brandi); along with 15 great grandchildren.

There will be a visitation held on Sunday, October 24, 2021 from 10-2pm with service to follow at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130. Burial will be held on Monday, October 25, 2021 at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
