Thomas "Tom" Brown

Thomas “Tom” Brown, 71, passed away on January 15, 2025, at home surrounded by his family. 

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, January 27, 2025, at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN.   Visitation will be held from 2 PM to 6 PM on Monday at the funeral home. 

Tom was born on September 1, 1953, in Louisville, KY, to the late Charles and Charlotte Brown.  He was a beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather to his loving family and will forever be missed by everyone who had the pleasure to know him.  He was retired from Philip Morris and the Boy Scouts of America, where he served as Ranger, at the Tunnel Mill Boy Scout Camp.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Linda Reed (Ken); brother-in-law, Bobby Watkins; and sister-in-law, Linda McIntyre.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Brenda Brown; children, Tom Brown (Stacey) and Jason Brown (Kristy); siblings, Tony Brown (Barbara), and Gary Brown (Tammy); grandchildren, Madison Brown (Todd), Garrett Brown (Chloe), Kendall Brown, and Jena Brown; nieces and nephews, Chris Brown (Kate), Eric Brown (Shaylan), Michael Brown (Pam), and Jamie Copenhaver (Miles); brother-in-law, Butch Ford, and children, Mike Ford (Mary Anne) and Sandy Redmon (Randy); sister-in-law, Vickie Watkins, and her children, April Watkins and Jonathan Watkins; close family members, Dennis and Janice Evans; numerous great-nieces and nephews, and cousins; and faithful companions, Rae and Sophie.
