Tilmon “Tim” D. Langdon, 83, of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Baptist Floyd Health. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 from 5-8 PM at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Pkwy in Jeffersonville. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
Tim was born the youngest of nine children on March 28, 1937 in Pineville, Kentucky to the late, Sim and Lettie Langdon. He graduated from Jeffersonville High School in 1956 and attended West Virginia University on a football scholarship. After college, Tim owned and operated two different Chevron service stations in Louisville, Kentucky for 40+ years. He was an avid University of Kentucky fan, he enjoyed hunting and riding on his tractor. Tim proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by eight siblings, June, Alfred, Noah, Ida, Bobbie, Dora, John, Dolly; and first wife, Margie Stokes-Langdon.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Debra Langdon; three children, Tim Langdon (Rondi), Jason Lawrence (Sunda), Melissa Nolan (Paul); six grandchildren, Jessica Mardis (Shawne), Nikolette Langdon, Victoria Crable, Brecken Lawrence, Carter Lawrence, Carrick Silas Nolan; and one great-grandson, Nash Nicholson.
