Tim Walker

Tim Walker, 62, of Henryville, Indiana, passed away on January 24, 2022. There will be a visitation held at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, Indiana, on Friday, January 28, 2022, from 3:00PM – 8:00PM as well as on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 10:00AM – 11:00AM with service to follow at 11:00AM. Burial will take place at Walnut Ridge Cemetery, Jeffersonville, Indiana.

Tim was born in Jeffersonville, Indiana on March 18, 1959 to Lewis Walker & Sue Mullins and was raised alongside three siblings. Tim attended Jeffersonville High School and was part of the graduating class of 1977. He also attended trade school at the Carpenters Union, Local 64. Tim was a lifelong carpenter working for the Union.

Tim went on to marry the love of his life Cynthia “Cindi” (Leister) Walker on May 12, 1979 and together they raised three beautiful daughters. He was a big fan of the IU Hoosiers, especially Bobby Knight, enjoying their basketball games, and also enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, cooking, and anything his family wanted to do; he loved spending time with his girls and grandkids, and attending their sporting events. Tim was a loyal and protective husband and father, very stubborn and set in his ways, but a great teacher to his family.

Tim is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis Walker & Sue Mullins. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, Cindi Walker, his loving wife of 42 years; his three girls, Kara, Kelsey, & Katie; his grandchildren, Aubri & Mason; and his siblings, Greg Walker, Tony Walker, & Debbie Coleman, as well as many nieces, nephews, & other family and friends who will all miss him very much.
