Tracey Lynne Cornelius

Tracey Lynne Cornelius, 60, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away on Saturday 21, 2023 in Sellersburg, Indiana. She was born June 13, 1963, in Jeffersonville, Indiana  daughter of Michael and Judith Cornelius. Tracey retired from the Census Bureau after 35 years where she received many honors for exceptional service.  She had a lifelong passion for animals and all things nature.  Her green thumb was a testament to her skillful gardening which made for a vibrant paradise. Tracey loved the water, clouds, and everything in between. Her exceptional kindness and caring nature for her friends and family was returned with full measure.

Tracey was preceded in death by her father, Michael Cornelius. She is survived by her mother, Judith Cornelius; sister, Stacey Cornelius; brother, Michael Cornelius (Karen); her companion, Larry Green; stepfather, Mark Speth; niece, Cristen; nephew, Andrew, and many close friends.

There will be a visitation held on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, from 3-7pm with service to follow at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, Indiana.
