Wilma C. Frazure

Wilma C. Frazure 91, Jeffersonville, Died at home in her sleep early morning November 13, 2021.

Wilma was born in New Albany in 1930 but was a Jeffersonville resident most of her life. Wilma was preceded in death by parents, William and Hazel Voyles; husband of 68 years, Earl; siblings, Marcella Gent, Joseph Voyles, Bernadine Naiser, Maxine Davis, Jerry Voyles, and Pauline Hublar; and grandson Justin Reisinger. Wilma is survived by her three sons; Michael Earl, Anthony Lee, and Matthew; and siblings Margaret Conn, Mary Strait, Robert Voyles, and William Voyles. Wilma also has 2 granddaughters and 2 great-grandchildren.

Wilma was a 1948 graduate of Jeffersonville High School where she sang in the Glee Club, met and later married her high school sweetheart Earl. Wilma maintained the home and raised her three boys. Wilma led an active lifestyle gardening with her mother, bowling in her forties, and learned to play golf in her fifties at Twighlight Golf Course in Watson. Wilma enjoyed her retirement with Earl as an avid golfer and was quite proud of two holes-in-one and local tournament victories. Wilma and Earl were members of Wooded View Golf Club. The Frazure’s were members of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Jeffersonville since 1956.

The family will be saying a quiet goodbye as Wilma had requested. There will be no services scheduled.
